City of Quinlan
City of Quinlan
P.O. Box 2740, Quinlan 75474
(903) 356-3306

The City of Quinlan is a growing city in south Hunt County with a population of 1,370 people. Sitting at the crossroads of State Hwy 34 and State Hwy 276, it is positioned to have easy access to Terrell, Greenville, Lake Tawakoni and Interstate 30. Quinlan was founded in the late 1800's as an agricultural community connected to other towns by the railroad and revolving around the cotton trade. The city and surrounding areas have evolved into a rural community of people who love the land but want to be close to the conveniences of city life. They are able to maintain both lifestyles because of how easy it is to commute to some of Texas biggest employers in the Dallas area.

Today Quinlan is the largest community in south Hunt County and in recent years has experienced significant commercial growth. The growth is a product of a progressive City Council and city employees that are dedicated to serving the needs of the businesses and resident of Quinlan and the surrounding community. The Quinlan City Council has significantly improved the City's infrastructure while providing the citizens with a lowered tax rate. No new debt has been created, although a business friendly environment with long-term growth and prosperity has been and continues to be the main objective of the City's growth plan. Quinlan has attracted many national businesses to the area and continues to support local businesses to create an astrosphere of small town friendliness along with big business convenience to the residents.

The residents of Quinlan enjoy family-friendly country living along with close proximity to major shopping centers and events of the Metroplex. They enjoy access to one of Texas largest recreational lakes which provides world class fishing and water recreation. Lake Tawakoni hosts many events throughout the year for serious fishermen and their families.

Quinlan combines a relaxing country lifestyle with the convenience of easy access to major cities and the friendliness of the people makes Quinlan the perfect home town.

"Church should be less like a church, and more like a coffeehouse..."

Our communities need places where we can just sit and relax and share what God's doing in each other's lives. Our faith is strengthened when we see and hear God's promises actually played out in other people's lives. The power of God is spread and multiplied by our testimony, and the BlueNote is here for just that reason - to provide a place for people to enjoy and "share life" with each other, while growing our community for God in a relaxed, non-threatening atmosphere.

The BlueNote is Quinlan's brand-new Christian coffeehouse and music lounge, providing the best drinks, music, and atmosphere around. The BlueNote is currently serving these menu items:

Lattes & Cappuccinos, Americanos, House Coffee & flavored Coffee of the Week, Chai Lattes, Frappes, Fruit Smoothies, Sodas, Juices, Bottled Waters, Muffins, Cookies, Chips, & other Snacks.
